RV Technician / Maintenance

Salary:

$20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Entry Level Technicians – $18 – $22 an hour with added efficiency bonuses of up to $8 per hour, + excellent training and advancement plan

RV experienced Technicians – $25 – $35 – Flat rate or hourly – with added efficiency bonuses of up to $3

What you’ll do:

• Performing work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance to dealership standards
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair RV systems
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors so customers can stay up to date
• Provide time estimates for repairs
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Provide orientation warranty walk-throughs with customer who have purchased an RV

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in either mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or maintenance work
• 3-5 years of experience working in a technical field a plus
• Have a set of personal tools
• The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time
• The ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device
• Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
• Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
